What have you asked the Lord about recently? Are you patiently awaiting the result or are you anxiously trying to work it out yourself? We sometimes are so anxious to have our answer that we birth Ishmael’s in our lives that become thorns in our flesh.
When we pray, listen to the Lord, wait on Him for you know He will answer you.
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1 KJV
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself Psalm 37:7 KJV
