Next, there was Dorcas, a godly woman who was greatly loved. She was a loving, caring and giving member of the early church. She had used her gift to be a significant blessing to her brothers and sisters in Christ. But, Dorcas died and the people greatly mourned.
Then, Peter was asked to intervene and address the situation which to all was filled with finality. Peter entered the death chamber and he earnestly prayed. As Peter petitioned the Lord in prayer the power of God filled the room and Dorcas rose from her death bed, fully alive and well. Peter presented her to her friends ... PRAYER CAN REACH IN THE REALM OF DEATH AND RESTORE LIFE!
