God is greatly interested in you. He doesn’t care for liturgical magnificence, if that’s all it is. He doesn’t want fancy flowing styles or the articulation of the learned. He wants your heart to talk to him. That is true prayer, being with the Father one-on-one. He wants us to be open and honest in our discourse.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:7-9 KJV
