Hindrance To An Effective Prayer Life 3

We must not ignore the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our prayers. One of the most tender and intimate relationships of the Christian life ought to be that between the believer and his heavenly heart-Guest.

Among His wonderful ministries to Christians is the help He give to our prayer life. It is His task to make our prayers answerable. How exceedingly foolish to bypass Him. To do so is to make our prayer life barren and unfruitful.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. Romans 8:26-27 NIV
