I don't know if any of you have noticed the current UN position on the embargo ... take a look at the article unembargoarticle please continue to add your prayers to this issue for wisdom to prevail.
Inflamatory comments are not necessary so we should also pray for wisdom in communication and diplomatic engagements.

Prayer Assignment - Red Hills Road
100 Lane, Black Ants Lane, 85 Lane, Commons, Chancery Street
Pray for:
1. Peace
2. Subdue the strong man
3. Empower the churches and christians living in the area
4. The presence of the angels, warfare, glory, protection
5. Salvations, transformation in community leaders and people ... and/or, gradual removal of these individual so as to not overrun the area with the wrong influence
In this effort we called one of the local churches that we had a witness in our spirit to work with. The Pastor had received a similar witness and so we went to the church on Sunday, October 26th for the PM service.
Our direction was to pray and bind the powers of darkness where we were at the time. We did, but as we assessed the spiritual climate the Holy Spirit directed us to speak to the church. We were asked to minister that evening during the street meeting that the local church was conducting.
The Lord shared the need to be united, to be people of faith and committment and He instructed us to take a stick and break it symbolically to demonstrating the breaking of the stronghold over the local church. He then indicated to break the two pieces again to demonstrate a severing of the strong mans power.
We ministered to the local body and shared God's heart for them.
A Spirit of Compassion
As we stood just looking at the faces of those walking by and even others representing the church, there was a strong sense of God's compassion for these people. We also sensed the apathy, faithlessness of the people. It was almost overwhelming but it emphasized the focus of prayer for the community's churches.
Some individuals stood out for personal prayer, Odane for example and the local Pastor.
We look forward to the strategic relationship established with this ministry that provide jurisdictional authority for another level of entrance into the area.
Thank God for our Pastors and Prayer Group members that went with us providing the spiritual supply to the effort.

Above is the reading plan for our season of Study, Prayer and Fasting for November 2008. This follows our discussion on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. We are fasting television and anything that is personally distracting you and I from fellowship for this season, please include your family members but do not allow this to cause strife in your home or that will defeat the purpose. One great theologian said, "worldliness is that which distracts us from fellowship with God." So this exercise is to remove one or more of these distractions for this season.
As demonstrated by the Lord Jesus, fellowship with the Father leads us to a life saturated by His presence. The presence of God with us leads us to have release of His power in situations that confront us and ultimately fulfilling His purpose by the adding of souls to the kingdom. The early church fellowshipped in such a way - that speaking a word, in the name of Jesus, caused a man impotent in his feet for over 40 years to walk. Fellowship caused people that were in the shadow of the Apostles to receive a release of power to address their condition ... demons dispatched from their victims and so many other examples. The culmination of these signs and wonders was the significant growth of the early church. Thousands were brought into the Kingdom by the presence of God demonstrated in the lives of these early church leaders.
We are fasting for the specific purpose of an outpouring of the Spirit of God upon us so that we are empowered to minister to the world around us. Please feel free to email me with any praise reports or insights given by the Holy Spirit during this period. I will not be very open to long personal discussions during this time myself and so I ask your understanding.

Being with Jesus
I have not been physically feeling up to par these past few days and I do recognize what was the genesis of my physical problem. However, I have noticed that each time these episodes of physical challenges occur, I become more aware of the voice of the Lord speaking.
It is apparent that I am not paying close attention to him in other situations and only when I get quiet, is he able to speak and have me listen. Now, don't misunderstand my position, I opened the door for each episode by my own action. But it is obvious to me that the Lord takes advantage of them to reign me in, in several ways.
A particular scripture has come alive to me that I have read many times but it seems that I have just received a revelation of its true sense.
Acts 4:13 TLB "When the Council saw the boldness of Peter and John and could see that they were obviously uneducated non-professionals, they were amazed and realized what being with Jesus had done for them!"
I realized something, that I should have already known, the very essence of Jesus, his character, his life, his vision, his power, everything that he is is communicated to us when we spend time with him. Fellowship with him is essential to growing and experiencing the gravity and expression of the apostolic power that the early church demonstrated.
As I have met and looked at men, my contemporaries, that flow in the miraculous and great signs and wonders, one thing stands out. Fellowship with JESUS CHRIST. Without our continuous fellowship, we lose something.
We become benign Christians, having a form of godliness but denying the very power of God by not maintaining our constant fellowship. We believe that there is within us a great move of God underway, we have surrendered ourself for God's use and we expect notable miracles to be the evidence of his presence in our ministry. The greatest expectation, the life tranforming experience of the new believer, we believe that the complacency and faithlessness of many will change because of this new season of seeking the presence of God.
We believe that "times of refreshing are coming from the presence of God," it has begun and continues as we pursue Christ.

CUBA
This morning there was a call to continue to pray for CUBA. That the embargo be lifted for the sake of the people. The Cuban church must not continue in hardship ... the Lord had me pray for this for about an hour or more and then during our early prayer time in Life Discovery.

The Shaking
Haggai 2:6-7 AMP
6 For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations and the desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts.
The shaking of the earth and all things within it? Can you look around you and see that very thing happening NOW in our financial lives across the globe? There is indeed a shaking taking place.
I've noticed that in building houses in Jamaica, when the masons want to have a neat, smoother and refined finish to the concrete walls they will use a sand that is more refined than what was used in the general construction. I have even seen them filter the sand to further refine the one used to do what is called a final rendering.
God is refining his body, His Church, around the nations. This refining is determining who is His and who is not! Let's embrace the refining fire of God and come out as pure gold, coming out of this will be a host (an army) of believers ready to do battle for the souls of men.

Praise Report
We were asked to pray for a child with a hole in his heart a few weeks ago, we prayed and I had the opportunity to go to his home and lay hands on him about a week ago. Several days after, he was taken to the Doctor for his regular visit and the diagnosis was "no more hole in his heart."
God is awesome, nothing is too difficult for Him and He uses us, imperfect vessels to do his perfect work.

The Lord has had us praying for several areas over the past few weeks ... some I'm sure will last for a while others were for the day or moment.
International
1. Cuba - Lifting of the embargo, the binding of the strong man, freedom, freedom
2. The spirits of Islam - shutting down their influence and the establishment of strongholds in the region.
3. The regions economy, stabalization, limit the fallout from the US economy issues, right decisions
Local
1. The Parade area of downtown Kingston - around King Street and the portion leading up to Orange street (don't know why the Lord would have us pray around this area yet)
2. Red Hills Road, the 100 lane area - Robbery, a planned robbery, peace, peace ... may link with a local pastor to pray on the ground.
3. Finance for the nation, right decisions, right arrangments and contracts for the nation ... in the interest of the people.
4. A gun shipment to Jamaica, to destabalize the country, shutdown the ports and pionts of entry ... bring confusion in the camp so that they are detected ... it shall not come ... it will be detected ... individual in the Jamaica Police, Customs and Politicians involved in the activity.
